There is nobody who hasn't heard the name "America" and stories of being super wealthy and developed.

As the the USA  is a big and diverse country it is normal that it has a long history.
So let us know the basic facts about the history of USA.

1. USA was discovered by Christopher Columbus before British came.


2.USA was declared  independent on July 4, 1776 (From Britain)

3. The Constitution of the United States was written in 1787 and Applied on 1788.

4.The Civil War Of US took place from
1861-1865.

5. The United States' present 50 star flag was planned as a school project by 17 year-old Robert G. Heft. Heft got a B-for his effort.

6.President Thomas Jefferson bought the Louisiana Territory from France in 1803

7.Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence; turned into the third President of the United States

8.George Washington was the  first President of the United States and leader of the Continental Army.

9.Robert E. Lee was the General of the Confederate Army.


10.The American Civil War lasted for four years  until 1865, with more than 600,000 Americans killed during the war.
